Bike Club aims to provide a safe space for vulnerable young people to learn bike mechanics skills and to develop their interpersonal skills. During the school holidays young people can join mountain bike excursions. For more info about Bike Club click here.

Bike Club is now offering a bicycle servicing scheme with the following options.

Stencil designs for the Old Shoreham Road

June 19, 2012

As part of the grand opening of the Old Shoreham Road cycle path we worked with the children of Cardinal Newman School to decorate the route. The artistic teenagers thought about the signs that would be needed on the route and then worked with a stencil artist to design their ideas.

They then made the stencils and sprayed them on canvas. Their designs will be spray painted onto the cycle path soon. Well done guys, great designs!

Cycle Celebration!

June 19, 2012

For the start of bikeweek and to mark the opening of the new cycle facility, Brighton Bike Project had a celebration of all things cycling with the local community on the Old Shoreham Road.  It was a great day which attracted over 100 people and saw…

2 huge banners with cycle slogans and reconstructed road safety messages painted by local children (and a few big kids!)
